Cleanroom Classification (ISO 14644-1 Particle Counting)
Location: Letchworth Garden City, UK Duration: 1-day Dates: 2025: Feb. 13 | July 10 | Sept. 11 | Oct. 9 |
There is a requirement in all cleanrooms and controlled environments to sample the airborne particle numbers and sizes for determining classification to ISO 14644-1.
Other regulated industries, such as pharmaceutical and life sciences, require testing for GMP classification, and monitoring for control, following the same procedures.
Particle counting is more complex due to changes in the standards and the technology used in particle counters.
ATI delivers a one-day course on Cleanroom Classification, using trainers who are very experienced in this industry, the most current equipment, and the latest best practices to advise on compliance to ISO 14644-1 and other regulatory guides and standards.
The morning of theory will provide delegates with knowledge on the types of cleanroom and clean air devices, the instruments to use, and how to test for classification. The afternoon is reserved for either an examination or practical demonstration for an attendance certificate. Each gives delegates confidence in choosing the correct instrument, setting it up for use, operating it, and interpreting the results provided.
Who should attend?
Attendance is advised for anyone in the clean air and containment industry who has a role in engineering, testing, quality assurance, validation, operations, management, inspections, or anyone responsible for the performance of clean air facilities and equipment.
Our courses also prepare delegates for CTCB-I certification. CTCB-I Testing and CTCB-I Technology courses are hosted and endorsed by the Contamination Control Network (CCN). Visit www.theccnetwork.org for more information.
What people say
We have received a 100% satisfaction rating on post-training surveys. A recent delegate said,
“The training provided gave a much better insight as to the room design and associated airflow requirements for the room classifications that I work in. As a result of the knowledge gained from this training, we will implement some of the information shared in our annual cleanroom refresher training. And the sandwiches were great!”
